Strategic Vision Implementation

Our technology-assisted Strategy and Implementation process is also copyrighted.  Through the use of the AMCat™ process, our facilitators assist organizations in creating a vision and strategic plan that propel them into the futures they desire.  These might be in the areas of increased market share, profitability, operational efficiency, etc.  This powerful process helps organizations to adapt to change, anticipate change, react quickly to change, and also CREATE change.  It helps innovative organizations become even more innovative and creative.  It is unique in that it identifies desired outcomes as well as the organizational processes that are critical to RESULTS.  Since it involves representatives from a cross-section of the organization, our process secures the alignment of the total organization, thereby harnessing the power of the larger group to effectuate the organization’s strategic plan.  It also enables the organization as a whole to focus on RESULTS and GET RESULTS. 

In addition, we go farther than most consultants/change agents in that we do not consider our job done once we have assisted the organization in completing the strategic plan.  In partnership with our customer, we translate the strategic plan created by the organization into a program management tool.  This working document for the organization includes the Vision Statement, as well as Goals, Objectives, time frames, individuals with lead responsibility, teams, milestones, and strategic challenges to the prime objectives.  Industry studies have shown that over 90% of strategic plans are not implemented because they have no linkage between the strategic plan and what happens in the organization on a day-to-day basis.   The implementation plans we build in partnership with our clients, however, are built directly from the Strategic Vision, and directly link that Vision to the day-to-day operations.  As the entire organization is involved in creating this document, it gives everyone in the organization the freedom to perform, builds in accountability, and increases the probability of success. 

In order to further insure the likelihood of success, we periodically meet with our customers after the initial strategic planning session, to monitor performance in meeting the strategic vision, to give feedback, and to see if existing and new processes support the vision.

Furthermore, we GUARANTEE our process.  Our guarantee states that if, at the end of the planning process (typically 3 days), the customer believes that our process was not valuable and did not produce something of value to the organization, the only thing the customer pays is our expenses, and there is no fee for the planning process itself.  In over 18 years no one has exercised this guarantee.
